Tammy Levey and Skip Minger were both presented plaques from Wreaths Across for America, recognizing their efforts in raising over $27,000 last year for the NLFPD, which allowed them to purchase over 1,800 wreaths placed at Abraham Lincoln Cemetery in Elwood, IL. This was the first time a single donor has been able to raise enough money to provide wreaths to cover an entire section of graves.
Amelia was the goalkeeper for the Lady Irish soccer team, who recently won their first Regional Championship in the school’s history. Described by her soccer coach, Marty Ruberry, “Amelia is a very hard-working dedicated player. She is always positive towards her teammates and she is a leader.
