Salvation Army Thrift Store in Bradley has let its workforce know it will be closing its doors for the final time on May 1st. They will continue to accept donations at the location until March 14th.

Locally, the Manteno St. Baldrick’s event has raised over $630,000 and shaved over 850 heads in its 8 years, all in the name of curing pediatric cancer. Paul Mitchell the school Bradley will be on hand to take care of all of the head shaving duties. The local school provides all of the equipment and brings their community outreach team of students to help the event run smoothly.

The individual is a man in his 60s and is the spouse of the first confirmed travel-related case in Illinois. He had not traveled overseas but interacted with his wife upon her return from China. This is the first person-to-person spread of the virus in the United States.
