The Frankfort Park District’s annual community wide garage sale kicks off this Saturday, June 1st from 9am-3pm. A list of the participating addresses in this year’s annual sale are below. The lists will also be available for pickup at the Park District’s office the week of the sale.

The City of Joliet is undertaking a study to evaluate multiple sources of water to provide a sustainable supply for the future. In a recent report the Illinois State Water Survey (ISWS) found that at the current rate of usage, the aquifer suppling the majority of the City’s water will no longer be sustainable by 2030.

On Thursday, May 16, Chief Riegel accepted his Chief Fire Officer certification in Peoria, Illinois, at the Illinois Fire Chief's Association Symposium. The Chief Fire Officer Certification is the highest level of certification awarded by the State of Illinois.
