In an attempt to warn seniors about how to avoid frauds, State Senator Patrick Joyce (D-Essex) has been attending many senior events and touring senior high-rise buildings, such as Thornwood House Apartments in Chicago Heights.

Dr. Leroy Schild, the Will County Animal Control administrator, said their agency has been working towards the space for the past 20 years. He adds the building acts as a more centrally located facility to help serve the County.

“(If) I were in Congress today, I would support LGBTQ rights in every way I could. … I hope that you’ll find me reflecting credit on the gay community — diverse in its thinking, growing in confidence, gaining in equality and acceptance.”
