Shooting at St. Joseph County House Party Leaves Teen Dead

Bremen, IN – A 19-year-old man died early Sunday following a shooting at a house party in southern St. Joseph County.

St. Joseph County Police responded around 3:15 a.m. to reports of a shooting at a short-term rental property on Quinn Road near Bremen. According to police, evidence of gunfire was discovered inside the home.

Shortly after the investigation began, staff at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka reported that a shooting victim had arrived and later succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities are treating the case as a homicide and have not announced any arrests. Police urge anyone with information to call their non-emergency line at 574-235-9611 or Crime Stoppers at 574-288-STOP.
