Deputies said Deandre Moye, 29, was apprehended during the early hours of November 5, 2025, by RCSD’s Fugitive Task Force at a residence in Richland County. Authorities thanked community members for their assistance in locating Moye.

According to RCSD, Moye is charged with Attempted Murder, Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime, and Felon in Possession of a Weapon. The charges stem from a shooting on August 16, 2025, near Beatty Road and Kay Street.

Investigators allege Moye had been hiding in the area and may have received help from acquaintances. Officials said anyone found to have aided him could face additional charges.

Moye has been booked at Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center as the investigation continues.
