Salem, N.H. – A single-vehicle crash on Interstate 93’s Exit 2 offramp killed three people on Friday afternoon.

The crash occurred at 2:02 p.m. when a 2012 Kia Sportage veered off the southbound offramp, authorities said. The vehicle traveled through grass before hitting a culvert and stopping off the road.

The driver, Rodney J. Dore, 71, of Pelham, and two passengers, Anne J. Dore, 70, of Pelham, and Lisana M. Alexander, 45, of Salem, died at the scene.

First responders from the Salem Fire Department, Salem Police Department, and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation assisted state police.

Police are investigating what caused the Kia to leave the road. Troopers urge anyone with information to contact Trooper Mark Lingerman at (603) 223-4381 or mark.n.lingerman@dos.nh.gov.

Authorities continue to gather evidence to determine the cause of the crash.
