Lombard, IL – The Village of Lombard is gearing up for its annual Jingle Bell Jubilee on Saturday, December 7. The event will feature a tree lighting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. in Lilacia Park. Guests can enjoy a complimentary trolley service running from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.
According to the Lombard Park District, local organizations like Calvary Church, Helen Plum Library, and the Lombard Historical Society will host activities throughout the day. Highlights include a cookie walk, scavenger hunts, crafts, live music, and holiday-themed photo opportunities. The Lombard Fire Department will also collect toy donations for its annual drive.
Visitors can enjoy family-friendly activities at locations including the Brust Funeral Home, Maple Street Chapel, and the First United Methodist Church. Downtown Lombard will host the Candy Cane Lane Holiday Market, featuring shopping and holiday-themed performances.
The event promises an evening of cheer with hot cocoa, cookies, and performances from local choirs and orchestras. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early to explore the full schedule of activities.
