Michigan Teen Held on $500K Bond in Mount Clemens Arson Case

Mount Clemens, MI – A 17-year-old has been charged as an adult and is being held on a $500,000 bond following a house fire that forced six people to flee a Mount Clemens home.

According to the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived around 3 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, to Eldredge Street near Cass Avenue to find heavy smoke and flames. Three adults and three children escaped without injury.

Jonathan Brady was arrested the same day and arraigned on four felony counts, including home invasion, arson, and explosives-related charges. A GPS tether is required if released.

The investigation remains active.
