Burlington, WI – This Halloween, Burlington is set to celebrate in a unique way with the return of its 35th annual Spooky City Coffin Races, sponsored by Daniels Family Funeral Homes.
The races will take place on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, from noon to 2 p.m. in downtown Burlington. Participants will race custom-built coffins down the street, competing for a $1,000 cash prize. The event, a fan-favorite Halloween tradition, draws large crowds and embodies the spooky spirit of the season.
According to event organizers, the Coffin Races bring the community together, blending friendly competition and eerie fun. The sponsorship by a local funeral home adds an extra Halloween flair, making this event a must-see.
