Bourbonnais, IL – A festive holiday celebration, Miracle at The Grove, is set for Saturday, December 14. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 700 Main St. NW. Families can enjoy holiday activities, local shopping, and seasonal treats.
Visitors will meet live reindeer from 10 a.m. to noon and take photos with Santa and his elf from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. According to the Village of Bourbonnais, the event includes holiday shopping from local artists, food trucks offering cocoa and seasonal dishes, and free photo opportunities with a Christmas tree and sleigh.
History enthusiasts can explore the Letourneau Home/Museum and Log School House through guided tours from 1 to 4 p.m. Ice skating at The Rink is also planned, with more details coming soon.
The event, hosted by the Village of Bourbonnais and the Community Arts Council of Kankakee County, marks the start of the local holiday season. Admission is free, making it a perfect day for the entire family.
