Little Rock, AR – Strong to severe thunderstorms are moving out of Arkansas, but the weather remains active. Wind gusts will be strong throughout the evening. Scattered showers and thunderstorms may still develop, some producing small hail.
According to the National Weather Service in Little Rock, a powerful low-pressure system is passing through the region. Cold air aloft is mixing with warmer air near the surface, creating unstable conditions. This setup could trigger additional showers or isolated storms.
Later tonight, moisture wrapping around the system may bring light snow to the Ozark Mountains. Travel conditions could be affected in higher elevations. The system will continue moving east, improving conditions by morning.
Residents should prepare for gusty winds and brief storms. Stay updated on changing weather conditions.
