According to the National Weather Service in Phoenix, showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue Monday with a 60% chance through the afternoon, especially in the early part of the day. Rainfall amounts may reach up to a quarter inch, with heavier bursts in isolated thunder cells.

By Tuesday, skies will begin to clear with only a 20% rain chance early in the day. Highs will warm to 74°F Tuesday, before a jump to 85°F on Wednesday and 92°F by Thursday. Winds will stay light, and skies will remain clear from Tuesday night onward—setting the stage for a quick return to typical desert heat.
