Duluth, Minnesota – Duluth is in for a taste of summer on Tuesday—but it won’t last long. After highs soar into the 70s, a sharp midweek cool-down and breezy conditions will bring a spring reset to the North Shore.

According to the National Weather Service in Duluth, Tuesday will reach a high of 73°F under sunny skies, with west winds shifting northeast overnight. But by Wednesday, temperatures will tumble nearly 25 degrees, barely reaching 49°F, accompanied by gusty winds up to 25 mph out of the east.

Tuesday night will turn breezy with overnight lows near 42°F. Winds from the northeast will pick up after midnight and remain elevated into Wednesday, especially along Highway 61 and the Lake Superior shoreline, where the lake breeze may intensify the chill.

The rest of the week stays sunny but cool. Highs on Thursday and Friday will hover in the mid-50s, with occasional gusts reaching 20 mph. A slight chance of rain enters the picture Friday night, but the overall trend favors dry, sunny skies through the weekend.
