As camp broke, as per tradition dating back to 2004 when then Head Coach Lovie Smith mandated his staff switch from golf carts to bikes, Bears Coaches gave away bikes used during their two weeks in Bourbonnais to people here in Kankakee County including teenagers and veterans. Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet and the Illinois State Police helped choose the recipients.
The Chicago Bears annual Family Fest takes place later this evening at Soldier Field. Yesterday after Training Camp on the campus of Olivet in Bourbonnais, Head Coach Matt Nagy was questioned if there was a level of frustration with the offensive production so far in camp.

Fans will rejoice to learn Saturday, August 31st in Logan Square, the Chicago Bears will be host their fourth annual Miller Lite Block Party to kick off the regular season! The event will run from noon till 10 pm and feature a variety of tailgate-style food, beverages, Miller Lite’s Bar 75 and the Miller Lite Food Truck. Additionally, family free activities will be on hand, including the Kid Zone featuring Chicago Bears Kids Club and Crib Club along with various photo opportunities.
