As camp broke, as per tradition dating back to 2004 when then Head Coach Lovie Smith mandated his staff switch from golf carts to bikes, Bears Coaches gave away bikes used during their two weeks in Bourbonnais to people here in Kankakee County including teenagers and veterans. Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet and the Illinois State Police helped choose the recipients.
