Thrill of the Putt Hosted by Manteno Chamber of Commerce

The Manteno Chamber of Commerce hosted its first annual “Thrill of the Putt” adult putt-putt tournament on Saturday, April 27 at various businesses located in Manteno. The progressive mini golf tournament began at the Leo Hassett Community center, took place between 12 different businesses that hosted “holes”, and ended at Stampede Saloon for a “19th hole” celebration.

An East African Safari Travelogue at Bourbonnais Public Library

Friends of the Bourbonnais Library will present “An East African Safari Travelogue” with Dr. James Paul and John Hassett on Thursday, May 23, at 7:00 p.m. in the White Oak Room at the Bourbonnais Public Library, 250 W. John Casey Road.The travelogue will take attendees on a visual tour of the diverse wildlife and beautiful landscapes of Tanzania and Kenya using photos, videos, and stories.
