Illinois Spring Trout Fishing Season Opens April 4
An early opportunity at select trout sites – the Spring Catch-and-Release Fishing Season – will open March 21. No trout may be kept during the catch and release fishing period, but anglers can keep trout after the opening of the regular season beginning April 4.

“CDC states there is likely very low risk that the COVID-19 can be spread from products or packaging shipped from China, because of poor survivability of coronaviruses on surfaces. Also, according to the CDC, there currently is no evidence to support the transmission of coronavirus associated with imported goods; and there have been no reported cases of COVID-19 in the United States associated with imported goods.”
Chicago High School Staff, Students quarantined as 7th Coronavirus conformed in Illinois
All students and staff who were at Vaughn Occupational High School from Feb. 25 to March 6 have been advised to quarantine themselves after a 7th Coronavirus case was confirmed in Chicago.

Nearly 200 Participants Showcase Art at KCC High School art show 2020
The show runs through March 18 in the art hallway and gallery area, on the first floor of KCC’s Arts & Science Building. The area is open 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. Fridays. From March 9 to 13, the gallery will close at 5 p.m.
