Illinois Spring Trout Fishing Season Opens April 4

An early opportunity at select trout sites – the Spring Catch-and-Release Fishing Season – will open March 21. No trout may be kept during the catch and release fishing period, but anglers can keep trout after the opening of the regular season beginning April 4.

Chicago High School Staff, Students quarantined as 7th Coronavirus conformed in Illinois

All students and staff who were at Vaughn Occupational High School from Feb. 25 to March 6 have been advised to quarantine themselves after a 7th Coronavirus case was confirmed in Chicago.

The show runs through March 18 in the art hallway and gallery area, on the first floor of KCC’s Arts & Science Building. The area is open 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. Fridays. From March 9 to 13, the gallery will close at 5 p.m.
