Manitowoc County, WI – A large-scale drug investigation spanning multiple Wisconsin counties has led to significant narcotics and firearm seizures, along with multiple arrests following a coordinated law enforcement operation.

According to the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office, the investigation—conducted alongside the DEA Green Bay Resident Office, Door County Drug Unit, ATF, FBI, and Wisconsin Department of Justice—targeted individuals allegedly involved in drug trafficking, firearms offenses, and fraudulent document distribution.

Authorities said the investigation ran from January through April 2026, during which undercover purchases and search warrants led to the seizure of more than 700 grams of cocaine, nearly 3,000 grams of methamphetamine, eight firearms, and multiple fraudulent documents.

On April 14, 2026, Wednesday, a coordinated operation across Manitowoc and Door counties resulted in multiple arrests and the recovery of additional evidence tied to drug distribution activities.

Officials identified two of the individuals arrested as Arquimides Arias-Hernandez of Two Rivers and Santiago Trujillo-Alvarez of Sturgeon Bay. Both are currently in custody at the Manitowoc County Jail on narcotics distribution charges and are also facing federal immigration detainers.

According to authorities, both suspects are being held on $500,000 cash bonds as the case is reviewed for potential additional charges.

Law enforcement officials credited strong interagency cooperation for the outcome, emphasizing that the case highlights ongoing efforts to disrupt drug trafficking and reduce firearm-related violence across northeast Wisconsin.

The investigation remains active.
