Spokane, WA – Warm weather continues across Spokane through Wednesday, but changes are on the way. A cold front will bring breezy to gusty winds starting Wednesday afternoon. This will elevate the risk of blowing dust, hazardous boating conditions, and increased fire concerns.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), the cold front will move through eastern Washington and the Idaho Panhandle on Wednesday. Isolated thunderstorms are also expected to develop. These storms could bring scattered rain showers, particularly near the Cascades.

Temperatures will drop sharply after Wednesday, with highs only reaching the upper 60s by Thursday. The cooler temperatures are expected to continue through the weekend. Residents should be prepared for rapidly changing conditions, especially those working outdoors or planning travel on waterways.
