Yorkville, IL – A man was arrested early Monday during a reported burglary at a closed business on Center Parkway. Police responded to an alarm at approximately 12:30 a.m. and discovered a suspect allegedly actively attempting to steal prescription medications.
According to Yorkville Police, officers found the business unsecured, with an air conditioner partially removed from a window. Shortly after entering, they reportedly located a man inside the building.
Connor P. Naughton, 27, of Yorkville, was taken into custody without incident. He faces a Class 2 felony burglary charge.
Yorkville officers were assisted by the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office and Plano Police Department in the arrest. Naughton was transported to the Kendall County Jail, where he awaits trial.
