Warrenville, Ill. — The Warrenville Junior Safety Academy will take place June 23 to 27. It is hosted by the City of Warrenville Government Police Department, the Warrenville Fire Protection District and the Warrenville Park District. The one-week program for ages 10 through 14 is designed to build trust and friendship between first responders and youth.
Kids will have the opportunity to learn about topics such as fitness, leadership, service to the community, home and school safety, fire safety, basic First Aid, juvenile law, internet safety, and police and fire operations.
The Warrenville Junior Safety Academy will run Monday, June 23, to Friday, June 27, at the Recreation Center. The program starts at 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Applications start at $55.
