The primary hazards include damaging wind gusts between 60–75 mph, hail up to 1.75 inches in diameter, and a low-end tornado threat.
Cities including Lubbock, Morton, Post, and Aspermont fall under a Marginal Risk, meaning isolated severe cells remain possible. Localized power outages and downed tree limbs are possible where winds intensify. Motorists along U.S. Highways 84 and 62/82 should plan for sudden reductions in visibility and slick roads.
