Arlington, Texas – Thunderstorms could disrupt travel and outdoor plans in Arlington Tuesday as summer storms push through by early afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth, scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected after 12 p.m. CDT on Tuesday, June 10. Storms may bring brief heavy rain, lightning, and gusty winds, particularly near major roadways like I-20 and Highway 360. Although rainfall totals will remain low, localized street flooding remains possible.

High temperatures will climb to 86°F Tuesday afternoon before storms cool conditions slightly into the evening. Winds will stay light from the south at 5 mph. Drivers should watch for slick roads during the evening commute and delay outdoor activities until storms clear overnight.

Wednesday brings another round of widespread thunderstorms, with a 60% chance of rain by 1 p.m. and stronger gusts possible. Wednesday night carries continued storm risk with another 30%–60% chance and lows around 71°F.

Prepare for changing skies through Thursday, when another round of rain (70% chance) and storms is likely, though high temperatures stay around 84°F. Summer humidity will stick around into the weekend.
