Huntsville, AL – The Tennessee Valley is set to experience a significant warm-up this week, with sunshine and temperatures nearing 60 degrees. After a cloudy and damp Monday, conditions will clear overnight, leading to warmer and sunnier weather starting Tuesday.
According to the National Weather Service, Tuesday’s high will reach 56 degrees with calm southwest winds, making for a comfortable day across the region. By Wednesday, highs will climb even further, ranging between 58 and 62 degrees. This warming trend provides an ideal opportunity for outdoor activities and travel throughout the Tennessee Valley.
Rain is expected to return Thursday, with a 50% chance of showers beginning in the afternoon. Highs will remain near 62 degrees before cooler air arrives Friday. Overnight lows will stay in the 30s early in the week but could rise to the 40s by Thursday night.
Drivers along major routes like I-565 and U.S. 72 will enjoy clear conditions through Wednesday. Those planning outdoor activities should aim for earlier in the week before rain moves in.
Take advantage of the sunny skies and warmer temperatures before the midweek rain showers arrive.
