A high rip current risk remains in effect along Florida’s Gulf Coast, impacting Pinellas, Hillsborough, Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte, and Lee counties. The advisory lasts through Tuesday evening. Beachgoers are advised to swim near lifeguards, avoid strong currents, and remain cautious in the water.

Looking ahead, Thursday will bring mostly sunny skies with a high of 79°F and light southwest winds. By Friday, temperatures will cool slightly to 74°F under continued sunny conditions. The weekend forecast remains warm, with highs reaching 77°F on Saturday and 83°F on Sunday.
