Pittsburgh, PA – Spring officially arrives this Thursday, but Pittsburgh will get a taste of warm weather ahead of it. Wednesday’s forecast brings sunshine and unseasonably warm temperatures nearing 77°F, making it the warmest day of the week before rain moves in by Thursday.

According to the National Weather Service, Wednesday will be partly sunny, with a steady south wind between 6-14 mph and gusts reaching 23 mph. By Wednesday night, clouds will increase, with a 40% chance of showers after 2 a.m. Lows will drop to around 50°F.

Thursday marks a shift, with an 90% chance of rain, particularly after 8 a.m. Temperatures will remain mild, peaking near 59°F. Motorists on I-376 and surrounding highways should expect wet conditions for the morning and evening commutes.

By Thursday night, rain will taper off, leaving mostly cloudy skies and a low of 30°F. Friday will be sunny but cooler, with highs reaching 53°F. The weekend forecast calls for periodic rain, especially Saturday evening, with a 60% chance of showers and highs in the mid-50s.

Looking ahead, Sunday and Monday remain unsettled, with showers likely and temperatures in the upper 50s. Travelers and commuters should stay alert for changing road conditions.
