Along with the heat, there’s a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms in the interior and Gulf Coast regions this afternoon and early evening.
According to the National Weather Service Miami, there’s a slight chance for rain early today along the east coast, followed by mostly sunny skies. As the weekend progresses, the forecast shows continued high temperatures with slight variations. Saturday and Sunday will see highs around 92°F with mostly sunny conditions on Saturday and partly cloudy skies on Sunday.
Rain chances increase on Monday and Tuesday, with a 40% chance of showers each day and temperatures peaking around 90°F. The midweek forecast indicates a 35% chance of rain on Wednesday with highs remaining steady in the low 90s.
