
Aberdeen, SD – Showers and weak thunderstorms are expected to move back into northeastern South Dakota today, with a 15-50% chance of precipitation wrapping back into the region. Areas along and west of the Missouri River may experience these storms through early Friday morning, with temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to upper 80s.
According to the National Weather Service in Aberdeen, additional precipitation of up to 0.50 inches is possible in the area, though the probability of receiving more than 0.50 inches remains low at 20% or less. Today’s high is forecasted to reach around 79°F, with partly cloudy skies tonight and a low of 64°F.
As the weekend approaches, conditions are expected to improve significantly. Friday will see lingering clouds with a high of 76°F, but by Saturday, clear skies will dominate, with highs climbing to the low 80s. Sunny weather will continue through Sunday and into early next week, with temperatures gradually rising to the mid-80s.
