South Carolina Weather Alert: Sunny Skies Give Way to Showers in Spartanburg by Friday

Spartanburg, SC – A stretch of warm, sunny weather continues through midweek, but changes are on the horizon as rain moves in Friday. Residents can enjoy clear skies and above-average temperatures through Thursday before a cold front brings showers.

According to the National Weather Service, Spartanburg will see highs in the upper 60s on Wednesday and Thursday with light winds. By Friday, showers will develop in the morning and increase throughout the day, with an 80% chance of precipitation.

Overnight temperatures will drop into the low 40s as rain tapers off late Friday night. Saturday brings a return to sunshine with a high near 62°F.

Drivers should prepare for wet roads during the Friday morning and evening commutes. Those with outdoor plans should consider scheduling around the rain.
