La Porte, IN – A fatal two-vehicle collision on US 20 claimed the life of a Seattle man on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.
According to La Porte County Sheriff’s Department reports that the accident occurred at 3:34 PM, involving a grey 2023 Toyota and a white 2022 Ram pickup. Charles A. Adams, 59, from Seattle, driving the Toyota, collided with the Ram operated by Mark Burch, 55, of Porter, Indiana. The impact caused Adams’ vehicle to leave the roadway and roll several times.
Adams was pronounced dead at the scene, while Burch was uninjured. The investigation is ongoing, with local authorities and emergency services providing assistance.
