Schererville, IN – The Schererville Police Department is actively seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a residential burglary that occurred earlier today. The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-30s, standing 6’0” or taller, with facial hair and a ponytail. Police emphasize that the man was wearing a distinctive hat, carried a backpack, and donned pants that might have included knee pads.
The suspect was last seen driving an older model Buick Enclave, which features chrome trim and wheels. The vehicle and the suspect were reportedly in the area of Teibel and Protsman Drives. Authorities are urging anyone with information, or those who may have surveillance footage, to come forward.
