Schaumburg, IL – Motorists in Schaumburg are advised to plan for a change in their commute as a significant road construction project is set to begin.
According to the Village of Schaumburg, starting April 1, Rodenburg Road will be closed for reconstruction between Irving Park Road and Travis Parkway/Timberleaf Circle. Commuters should be prepared to follow the posted detour route, which will direct traffic via Irving Park Road, Roselle Road, and Central Avenue. The construction work is scheduled to be completed by late fall.
