Kankakee, IL – A late-night traffic stop Saturday night turned into a major bust for Kankakee Police when a vehicle was pulled over on South Chicago Street, leading to multiple arrests.
According to police reports, the vehicle’s search was prompted by a tip-off about contraband, and the ensuing investigation reportedly uncovered three guns along with marijuana. Demetrius D. Bostic, 20, and Cer’veonn Flemming, 19, were arrested on multiple alleged charges including aggravated discharge and battery with a firearm. The juvenile was not identified. Two people inside of the vehicle, including the driver of the vehicle were not detained following the stop.
