Addison, IL – A serious head-on collision involving multiple vehicles on Route 83 and Interstate 290 in Addison this morning resulted in several injuries. 

According to the Addison Police Department, the crash occurred at approximately 10:30 AM, requiring emergency services to respond to the scene. Officers and paramedics quickly assessed the situation, providing immediate aid to the injured parties. 

While two individuals were transported to nearby hospitals due to the collision, another was taken for medical attention unrelated to the incident. Authorities, including the Metropolitan Emergency Response and Investigative Team, are currently investigating to ascertain the cause of the accident.
