Los Angeles, CA – The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department announced heightened security measures for the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl. This follows a tragic incident in New Orleans, which has raised public safety concerns.
Sheriff Robert Luna emphasized that while no credible threats have been identified, officials are taking every precaution to ensure safety. Measures include street closures, barricades, increased law enforcement presence, and advanced monitoring equipment.
According to the department, law enforcement is working closely with the Pasadena Police Department and federal agencies. Their collaborative efforts aim to maintain a safe environment for attendees and participants.
