Oswego, IL — The Village of Oswego Police Department will host its first annual K9s ‘N Cops adoption event on Saturday, May 31. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Oswego Police Headquarters.
K9s ‘N Cops will highlight several local rescues and shelters and other animal-related booths. Vendors include Anderson Humane, Paws on Main Oswego, Rover Rescue and The Pets Home. A full list of vendors can be found on the Facebook event page. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet Oswego officers and K-9 units and learn about pet adoption. Community members may also leave the event with a new pet for their home.
The K9s ‘N Cops event is part of the police department’s mission to strengthen community ties and find homes for rescued animals.
