Southwest Ohio – Southwest Ohio is under a severe thunderstorm watch until 7 PM Tuesday. The National Weather Service (NWS) issued the alert as thunderstorms are expected to bring damaging winds, large hail, and the potential for isolated tornadoes.

The NWS warns that wind gusts could reach up to 70 mph, and hail may be as large as 1.5 inches in diameter. A tornado or two could develop as the storm system moves across the area. The watch covers regions within 60 miles east and west of a line running from Cincinnati to Nashville.

Residents in the affected areas should stay vigilant and be prepared for severe weather. Listen for weather updates and take shelter if conditions worsen. Strong winds could cause downed trees and power outages, while large hail may damage vehicles and rooftops. The severe weather threat will remain through the evening, making it essential to stay informed and take necessary precautions.
