Columbus, OH – The seventeenth “super load” will leave Adams County this Friday, making its way to New Albany for the new Intel plant in Licking County. This convoy features an absorber, measuring 86 feet long and weighing 129,000 pounds.

The route will pass through Chillicothe on Friday, stopping at Rickenbacker in Franklin County on Saturday. It will reach New Albany by Sunday. The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has worked closely with local governments and utility companies to clear the path of obstructions like utility lines and traffic signals.

ODOT has coordinated with local festivals and events to minimize delays along the route. The Ohio State Highway Patrol will escort the convoy, ensuring minimal disruption to emergency traffic. The route was carefully planned to accommodate the large load and reduce impacts on surrounding areas.
