Ohio Deputies Recover Firearm After DUI Checkpoint Chase and Crash on US 62

Franklin County, OH – A high-speed chase ended in a crash near Route 665 after a vehicle fled a DUI checkpoint at US 62 and Parlin Drive around 8:30 PM, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies pursued the vehicle, which ultimately flipped on its side.

According to the sheriff’s office, three individuals were apprehended, including one juvenile. The driver, who reportedly sustained a broken ankle, was transported to a local hospital for treatment. A firearm was also recovered from the scene. No deputies were injured during the incident.
