Exeter, NH – Two vehicles sustained damage and two juveniles were injured Thursday night in separate but similar incidents on Route 101, prompting an ongoing investigation by New Hampshire State Police.

According to State Police, the first incident occurred around 9:40 p.m. on Route 101 westbound in Exeter. A second, nearly identical occurrence took place just minutes later on the same highway in Auburn. In both cases, the victims were driving in the right-hand lane when occupants of another passing vehicle allegedly caused their vehicle windows to shatter.

Two juvenile passengers in one of the affected vehicles suffered minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital for precautionary evaluation. Their current condition has not been disclosed.

Investigators with Troop A secured both scenes and were joined by detectives to collect evidence and conduct interviews with witnesses. As of Friday, authorities have not released information about the suspect vehicle, citing the active nature of the investigation.

State Police were assisted at the scenes by the Auburn and Candia Police Departments, along with fire and emergency personnel from Auburn and Candia Fire Departments.

Authorities are urging anyone who observed suspicious activity along the Route 101 corridor between 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Thursday, or who may have dash camera footage, to contact Detective Sgt. John Kelly at John.S.Kelly@DOS.NH.GOV.

Officials say all aspects of the incidents remain under active investigation.
