Francestown, N.H. – A 21-year-old man from Francestown died early Thursday morning following a single-vehicle crash on Route 136.
According to the New Hampshire State Police, troopers responded to a report of a vehicle fire at 4:15 a.m. The vehicle, a 2023 Subaru Crosstrek, was found engulfed in flames after crashing into a tree. Witnesses were unable to help due to the fire.
Authorities identified the driver as Nolan Trottier, 21, of Francestown. The investigation revealed that Trottier’s car had left the road and collided head-on with a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Route 136 remained closed for two hours while police and emergency personnel investigated. The New Boston Police Department and Francestown Fire Department assisted in securing the scene.
