The NWS warns of black ice risk on roads and sidewalks, especially during the Friday morning commute. Snowfall could accumulate in higher elevations, with gusty winds making conditions even more challenging.
Saturday will be partly sunny and 46°F, while Sunday brings milder temperatures, reaching 51°F. However, overnight lows remain cold, dipping into the 20s.
Drivers should use extra caution on I-580 and local highways through the weekend, particularly in the early morning hours when ice is most likely to form.
