Fargo, ND – A 39-year-old woman suffered serious injuries after a motorcycle crash on I-94 in Fargo. The incident occurred near mile marker 352 between University Drive and the Red River Bridge on eastbound lanes, which were congested due to road construction in Minnesota.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist, riding a Zhejiang Cfmoto, was in the left lane when traffic slowed. The motorcycle tipped, throwing the rider into the middle lane. At that moment, a Dodge Ram 2500 pulling a camper began moving forward, running over the fallen driver and dragging her a short distance.

Authorities reported that the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet and was later charged with DUI and operating a vehicle without proper license endorsements. She was transported to Sanford Health with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The Dodge Ram driver and passenger were unharmed, and no charges were filed against them. The North Dakota Highway Patrol is continuing its investigation into the crash.
