Mid-Atlantic Region – New York, Pennsylvania, and parts of New Jersey are expected to see light snow later this week as colder air moves into the Mid-Atlantic region. Rain will dominate most of today, but dropping temperatures may bring snow to northern areas.

According to the National Weather Service, total precipitation will range between 0.1 and 0.75 inches through Saturday morning. Snowfall will likely focus on northern Pennsylvania and western New York, with light accumulations of 1-3 inches. Meanwhile, areas including Maryland, Virginia, and southern New Jersey can expect mainly rain.

No river flooding concerns have been reported at this time. Officials, however, urge drivers to remain cautious as road conditions may become slick during overnight hours when temperatures dip.

Residents should stay updated on the latest forecasts as weather patterns can shift quickly this time of year. Commuters and travelers in snow-prone areas are encouraged to allow extra time for travel and monitor road conditions.
