According to the National Weather Service, the snow is expected to begin early Saturday, with the heaviest activity likely during the morning hours. Conditions may lead to slick roadways on major routes, such as I-93, Route 128, and the Massachusetts Turnpike. Drivers should plan for slower travel and allow extra time to reach their destinations.
The snow will taper off by early afternoon, leaving behind cloudy skies and temperatures near 33°F. Saturday night will bring clearing skies, with overnight lows dropping to 23°F.
Looking ahead, Sunday offers partly sunny skies and a high near 37°F, making for a calm and pleasant end to the weekend. The dry conditions will continue into Monday and Tuesday, with sunny skies and highs nearing 40°F.
