Manteno, IL – A new business is opening its doors in the heart of Manteno as Angel Thrift Shop prepares for its official ribbon cutting and grand opening next Friday.
According to the Manteno Chamber of Commerce, the event will take place June 6 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the shop’s location at 350 N Locust Street, Suite A. The formal ribbon cutting and remarks are scheduled for 1 p.m.
The two-hour celebration invites community members to browse the store, enjoy complimentary refreshments, and network with local residents and business leaders. Attendees will also have the chance to enter a drawing for a 65-inch Sony TV, adding to the excitement surrounding the store’s debut.
The Manteno Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the event as part of its continued efforts to support local entrepreneurship and economic growth. The new thrift shop adds another destination to the downtown business district, within walking distance of nearby attractions such as Hendrickson Park and the Manteno Public Library District.
