Manchester, NH – New Hampshire State Police are investigating the death of an unidentified man whose body was recovered from the Piscataquog River Thursday morning.

According to authorities, Marine Patrol responded to a call around 7:58 a.m. near Second Street in Manchester, where the body was reported floating in the river. Members of the Manchester Fire Department recovered the deceased.

The identity of the man has not been released, pending notification of his family. An autopsy is scheduled by the New Hampshire Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
