According to the NWS, cooler temperatures today will give way to a warming trend by Monday. Today’s high is expected to reach between 62-67°F with lake effect showers possible in Northwest Indiana. Overnight lows will dip to a brisk 38-50°F, making for chilly evenings.
Sunday will bring sunny skies with highs in the range of 70-74°F. By Monday, temperatures will rise further, reaching between 79-83°F, offering a brief warm-up. Tuesday and Wednesday will continue the warming trend, with highs pushing into the upper 80s. Wednesday could see temperatures reaching up to 90°F, especially away from the lake, where cooler conditions may prevail.
