Kenosha County, WI – The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office is urging drivers to avoid U.S. Highway 45 this morning following a crash that brought down an electric pole and forced a full road closure.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred between State Highway 50 (STH-50) and 82nd Street, leading to a complete shutdown of both lanes of US-45. Emergency vehicles and utility crews are currently on scene, blocking the roadway as they assess the damage and begin repairs.
Deputies said the duration of the closure is currently unknown, and motorists should expect extended delays in the area. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes until further notice.
